URBAN YOGA @ Bedok Reservoir
MONDAY EVENINGS, YOGA AND RESISTANCE TRAINING
If you live in the East of the island, then you know that the reservoir is an incredible place to practice. We’ll be on the boardwalk, overlooking the water. Evenings mean that we’ll be basking in the serenity of the night. What a great way to spend a Monday evening, starting off your week with the right touch of self-care.
Every Monday evening, come for a mix of yoga and some light resistance training. Each week, we will be alternating between simple flow sequences and a mix of yoga with elements of resistance training, using resistance bands to help you build strength and mobility. Simple, but effective resistance exercises will help to train your muscles to do the work that they should be doing in various yoga postures. Improve the efficiency of your movement and find balance between strength and flexibility.
URBAN YOGA (previously Pop Up Yoga) was set up with the idea of building a community for likeminded individuals and with the firm belief that yoga should be inclusive and accessible to everyone! For the love of health and wellness, URBAN YOGA is an approach to give people more opportunities to explore this beautiful practice. The first in Singapore, URBAN YOGA is an initiative, a movement, to allow more in the same community to meet, inspire and sustain each other in the path to leading a healthier and happier lifestyle.
We will practice on the floating boardwalk southwest of the reservoir at the following pinned location: https://goo.gl/maps/2HuWLB7dtz3zk5D28, just behind the Reservoir village. Easy access by MRT (Bedok Reservoir or Bedok North Stops on the downtown line with a 15-minute walk) or by various buses that stop along the reservoir. If you are coming by car, park at the multi-story car park above the Sheng Siong supermarket at Block 739A.
Booking Policy: Bookings close 1 hour before the session starts.
Cancellation Policy: During this period, no refunds will be issued to ensure that the limited spots are reserved for students who genuinely intend to attend the classes. If you are unable to attend a class after you have made a booking, please let us know 48 hours in advance, and we can transfer your booking to a future date. Requests to be made by e-mail.
