One of the greatest joys of practicing yoga is the access to a community of like-minded people who endeavor towards greater health, wellness, and quality interactions. However, too often, we go into a yoga class, do our practice, and once it’s over, we roll our mats and leave. In doing so, we leave behind the opportunity for new meaningful interactions, and the potential for major life shifts. We believe that it’s not just the practice on the mat that brings positive benefits to one’s life, but the relationships we build within the community that helps us grow. Our monthly yoga and brunch talks are important platforms that encourages each person bring their own experiences to the table.



In partnership with One Faber Group, the event will take place at Arbora Hilltop Garden & Bistro, perched atop the lush greenery of Mount Faber Park. It will begin with a one-hour yoga practice, led by Urban Yogis co-founder, Julie Moksim. Following the yoga class, participants will be divided into small groups to have discussions over an exclusive healthy brunch set at the alfresco dining area surrounded by majestic views of the rainforest hillside. Each group will receive a set of discussion prompts to guide you in your sharing circles.

9.00 – 10.00 am – Yoga Practice

10.00 – 11.30 am – Fresh Juice & Rest

11.30 am onwards – Brunch & Chat


This is a 1hr practice suitable for all levels of practitioners. This class will grounded in anatomy, biomechanics, breathwork, somatic movement and embodied wisdom. Move through a series of postures and transitions from a multitude of traditions that encourage fluid dynamics and health throughout your whole system.


There’s no better time to structure our brunch conversations around the idea of conscious leisure and self-care than this public holiday! We will encourage you to share your self-care rituals and to prompt your table discussions around the concept of conscious leisure. That is, how we can structure our time off in a way that is balanced and nurturing. Rather than allowing your day off from work to be a continuation of the endless to-dos of the week, how do you actually take time off and make your day an intentional reset. Let’s share our self-care methods on this mid-week public holiday!


The event will take place at Arbora Hilltop Garden & Bistro located at Mount Faber Peak. At 100m above sea level, the lush greenery of one of the oldest parks in Singapore will truly allow you to immerse and stay connected to the earth.




  • 60-minute yoga class (please bring your own yoga mat)
  • 1 Cable Car ticket from HarbourFront Cable Car Station to Mount Faber Cable Car Station, and Mount Faber Cable Car Station to Harbourfront Cable Car Station (for event day only)
  • Set Lunch – Anti-Oxidant (a fresh pressed green juice) and a choice of one main (Wild Mushroom Aglio Olio (vegetarian-friendly) OR Herb Roasted Half Chicken).*

    *Option to choose set lunch
    * Alcohol and items outside of the set menu are not included

Dear friends and community, it wasn’t an easy decision to arrive to but alas, with so many changes happening to the world, reevaluations of 2022 and many decisions to make for the new year, we have decided to close Urban Yogis for now. It’s been quite a ride from our humble beginnings in 2013 from a basic pop up group in the Botanic Gardens to a vibrant collective of like-minded yogis invested in their health, connection and nature. It’s bittersweet for us to reminisce the good old times, especially during our pivot through the pandemic. We appreciate everyone who stuck by us through it all - changes to protocols, swabbing, check-ins, safe distancing - you name it! What a time! We’ve grown so much through it and have seen so many of you grow with us as well. There truly is a community of you, so willing to adapt with us through bad weather and ridiculous Covid-measures. For that, we are so grateful. Thank you for supporting us and for being our life-line during an unexpected time of our journey. At the root of Urban Yogis is learning and growing through the spirit of Yoga and Wellness. From immersive experiences like workshops and retreats, our mission was to help people find joy in self-inquiry and practice. We know that you will continue to do so and that makes our journey so worthwhile knowing that we played a small part in that too. Thank you for seeing us, believing us and showing up. We look forward to crossing paths with you in different ways.
