Breathwork is the most powerful physical, emotional and psychological healing mechanism yet we rarely give it more than a passing thought.

On this Breath of Life Retreat, come and experience a transformative process of self-discovery, inner healing and growth through the breath & body. Our workshops and exercises are all experiential in nature and designed for deeper learning. The experience is intended to help you walk away with a self-care tool kit and a sustainable way of weaving breath work into your daily life. It is also great way for you to hit the ‘reset’ button; learning how to release the stress and tension that you didn’t even realise you are holding onto. So whether you’re unsure how your lungs get filled, or you’re curious about what happens to the autonomic nervous system with each breath, or simply wanting to learn how to release tight shoulders and free up your diaphragm – this retreat is perfect for you.

Kathy Gabriel
Kathy Gabriel is a Yoga teacher, Craniosacral Therapist & Bodyworker licensed under Pacific Association of Craniosacral Therapists (PACT). Although yoga and complementary health was always in her family, she only picked up yoga as teenager during a period of spiritual seeking. She initially sought out Buddhism and meditation out in order to process her grief. Through the years, her understanding of health and wellness began to expand and it was through a holistic practice, she learned how to found solace, ease and balance to move through the different seasons of life. She is deeply passionate about sharing this practice with others, helping them navigate their own journey through the belief that all that one ever needs lies within.
Julie Moksim
Julie Moksim is the co-founder Urban Yogis. She is Singaporean by birth but a global citizen by lifestyle. Julie began her yoga journey in Boston in 2003. Having run a Yoga Cooperative in Laos and a Yoga studio in Myanmar, she is driven by the purpose of sharing knowledge and bridging the gap between people of different cultures, languages and belief systems through the practice of Yoga. Julie enjoys reinforcing the importance of authenticity in how one expresses themselves in movement. She believes that this translates to authenticity in life. Julie is passionate about creating spaces that help people discover themselves and find authentic expression!
Chun Yi Tan  
Chun is a certified Wim Hof Method Instructor based in Singapore and regularly offers workshops on breathwork and cold exposure. His journey started after 15 years of pushing his body through various activities like wakeboarding, scuba diving, snowboarding, skydiving, triathlons and military training. Eventually it became difficult to maintain the required energy to recover in time and prevent his body from falling apart. At times, his limbs would swell painfully and prevent movement for a few days, which was the body’s way of slowing him down. After discovering the Wim Hof method in 2016, this painful response subsided tremendously through constant practice of breathing, cold and mindset conditioning. Seeing how Wim Hof Method helped him personally, it became his mission to help others who have been through debilitating illnesses, inflammatory issues as well as long term shoulder and back issues. Through his session, he hopes to help people live stronger, healthier and happier.



Our retreat takes place at the Amara Sanctuary Resort Sentosa. Your overnight stay is an essential part of your introspective journey; a pause; and an opportunity to immerse yourself in the process of self-discovery. The comfortable deluxe rooms and the calming grounds of the resort offer a nurturing balance to our overall program. There will be ample free time in between our sessions for you to relax and recharge.

Cancellation policy: Full refund up to Tuesday November 2; 50% refund between November 2 and November 16th; no refunds after November 16th. In the event that government Covid restrictions prevent us from running the retreat on the scheduled date, you will have the opportunity to postpone your attendance to a future date or to a full refund.
